I just rediscovered my blog today and it's fun to recognize the last post was about a project that changed the course of my life. My short film "Pearl" won the "Get LA" contest, lead to my shooting a short film called "The Monstrosity" and this week I am attending the Santa Barbara International Film Festival where it will have its world premiere. I'm still a long way from getting my first feature and I'm still pursuing acting and shooting vids for my YouTube channel SuperCaliListic, but it's amazing to think how much has happened in just one year.
Thanks Jesse for throwing Variety in my lap. Here's hoping Nikki Finke will prove an adequate substitute. (My husband traded in his cell phone for an iPhone last year and now reads Deadline in bed instead of Variety...)
